I like to stop at the parking lot on Causeway Blvd just before the parking lot for Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge early in the morning. When it is a cool clear windy morning, I can photograph Gulls in flight and get closer to the waterfowl in the bay. This is where I found this solo Snow Goose which is unusual because they are usually found in large flocks. The Snow Geese are just starting to arrive in this area.
