The picture of this juvenile Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was taken in Central Park, New York City in the Rambles. The picture of this Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was taken with my CANON EOS7D with the CANON 100-400mm lens and the CANON 580EXII flash.
Once again I was glad to be have the use of the flash with the better beamer because this bird was in a shaded dark area of the Rambles in Central Park. It was fairly low down on the tree so that I could get a fairly sharp closeup of this bird.
Just used this picture to identify a woodpecker I took a picture of! It’s harder to take a picture thru the window with the bird moving from branch to branch on a magnolia which has lots of branches:-)
Thanks, David
