I love seeing the juvenile birds this time of year.
I was pleased to be able to get a picture of a pair of rails considering how difficult it is to get a picture of this very shy bird.
I felt like a flycatcher or more precisely a gnatcatcher yesterday at this marsh. There were so many gnats.

This is one of the first times that I have been lucky enough to be able to take pictures of a Turkey Vulture preening and looking very grand!
