Blackpoll Warbler

The picture of this Blackpoll Warbler was taken in Central Park in the maintenance yard 10/18/2011. The picture of this Blackpoll Warbler was taken with the CANON EOS 7D and the CANON 100-400 lens and the CANON 580EXII flash.

It is getting more difficult to get a picture of the fall migrating warblers as the season slows down. I was happy to be able to spend some time with a couple of Blackpoll Warblers in the maintenance yard in Central Park yesterday as they popped into view for moments at a time.

We had a beautiful day at the Prospect Park Raptor fest. It was wonderful to be able to get a capture of this magnificient bird.

It Is always a special time when the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds migrate through the New York Botanical Gardens. The combination of the Garden’s exquisite flowers and these magical birds make for a wonderful image.
