It Is always a special time when the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds migrate through the New York Botanical Gardens. The combination of the Garden’s exquisite flowers and these magical birds make for a wonderful image.

It is always a fun challenge to get an interesting shot of a flock of birds. I like the interest here with a shallow depth of field with only some birds sharply in focus.

Tree Swallows

Spring has arrived at the Jamaica Bay National Wildlife refuge. The Swallows dashing around is one of my most favorite visual experiences at JBNWR.
